Old Quarry Trail deer – August 2012

Old Quarry Trail deer – August 2012

I hadn’t been out for a walk on the Old Quarry Trail in Kanata, Ontario for awhile so it was nice to be able to walk there again today and find some of the deer that I knew from past visits

I wasn’t  alone on the trail but the deer were comfortable with lots of walkers and cyclists using the same trail.

Nice to see the mother and her youngsters again.  We call the one above ‘white nose’ for rather obvious reasons. Larry and a few others know her as “Dolly”.
