Civil War Re-enactment, Massena, NY July 28-29th, 2012

Well, I’m just back from Ogdensburg, NY where I was photographing this year’s version of the re-enactment of the French and Indian War. On the way home from there I stopped on the Canadian side of the St. Lawrence River to pay a quick visit to the site of the Battle of the Windmill and to briefly visit Fort Wellington which was constructed during the latter months of the War of 1812. I will hopefully find time this week to process and upload some of the images from today’s viists and then I’ll have to think about whether I will be able to get to Massena, NY for next week’s re-enactment of the Civil War.

Update July 28th, 2012: I made it to the Saturday re-enactment event and will be uploading photos over the next couple of days. First of the Encampment images here.

Such tough decisions to make :-).
