African Safari – October 26th – Lake Naivasha boat trip

Graeme did have the opportunity to go on a boat ride to see the hippos in their natural habitat. The ride started out fine under blue skies and billowing white clouds but a storm moved in and added a few high waves and a bit of excitement. Early smiles changed a bit as the weather worsened a bit later in the boat trip.

The group (sans Ron) also took a walk in a private game reserve where they tracked and found Zebras and Maasai Giraffes.

The boat group also learned a lot about African and Masai culture from their guide for the day and got a good amount of exercise as they hiked to a small crater lake and a small cafe.
