African Safari – Masai Mara – Lunch on a blanket

By about noon we had traveled a long way from our lodge and ended up at the top of a hill where we could get a panoramic view of that section of the Masai Mara. We also needed to check to see if there were any available trees under which to spread our community blanket.

Desert date

Once our tour leader had decided on a suitable tree, we came down from the hill, spread the blankets and enjoyed a picnic lunch before starting off for the afternoon portion of our all day safari.
